INGREDIENTS: L-lysine hydrochloride
RECOMMENDED USE: For cats 6 months or older 1/8 teaspoon twice daily. For kittens under 6 months 1/16 teaspoon twice daily.
WARNINGS: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce incidence of gastrointestinal upset. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. For use in Cats only. For animal use only. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. 2nd time ordering is great for my elderly cat
Already helping to cure my cats eosinophilic keratoconjunctivitis due to herpes. Nothing was helping his poor eye and within three days of sprinkling this on his food his eye started to clear up. Super happy.
Two of my cats overcame respiratory issues and also sinus infection in one thanks to this. I only knew about Lysine because someone told me. If your cat's sneezing, has mouth sores, and is feverish please please get this immediately. 1/8 teaspoon twice a week mixed in food (a teaspoon or two of food so your cat will eat it all then give it the rest of the food). Even if your cat has been sick a long while this might save its life or, if not, at least make its last days more comfortable by subduing the infection. I'm speaking from experience here. But the sooner you can use this after symptoms begin the better. And I want to add one more thing unrelated to this product. Dental issues can cause the above symptoms so adding a dental additive to the cats' drinking water to clean their mouths is a good step toward health. I recently purchased Dental Fresh and my cats accepted it at once. They know it's there and I've even added it right under their noses. I see them drinking water more frequently now. It's not addictive--it must feel good and certainly hydration does.
It apparently has no taste, because both cats eat it. And I just sprinkle it on top of wet food & don't mix it in Give it to them whenever they get the sniffles or a sneeze. Does the trick@
Lysine is great for cats with upper respiratory issues. No more runny eyes. Mixes well with wet food. This bottle will last years, wish it came in smaller size
my cat has feline herpes and was recently put on a HA Hydrolyzed diet. Her old treatment for her herpes is now no longer accepted. this is a great substitute that she eats right up when sprinkled over her food. thank you, NOW pet health
